This festive season just got sweeter — and cooler. Hocco Ice Cream, known for its inventive dessert creations, has collaborated with the iconic Indian brand Haldiram’s to introduce the world’s first Barfi Ice Cream. The new product fuses the timeless taste of Indian mithai with the refreshing experience of ice cream, offering a never-before-seen treat that celebrates India’s love for tradition and innovation.

A Fusion of Tradition and Innovation

The Barfi Ice Cream arrives in two delicious flavours — Orange Barfi and Milk Cake Barfi and comes in a cube-shaped format designed for gifting and celebrations. It represents a creative blend of Haldiram’s classic mithai expertise and Hocco’s modern craftsmanship in frozen desserts. The collaboration also includes “The Cooler Together” campaign, which celebrates the coming together of two legacy brands with a shared passion for innovation and cultural storytelling.

Ankit Chona, Founder of Hocco Ice Cream, said, “At Hocco, our DNA has always been about challenging the ordinary and redefining how India experiences ice cream. With the Ice Cream Barfi, we’re taking a timeless Indian sweet and giving it a bold, innovative twist by turning mithai into something cooler, literally. Partnering with Haldiram’s, a brand that represents trust and tradition, allows us to show how innovation and heritage can come together to create a completely new festive experience.”

The launch is part of the “Cooler Together” campaign, which merges traditional Indian music and sweets with a fresh, youthful perspective. As part of the campaign, Hocco and Haldiram’s have collaborated with acclaimed folk singer Maame Khan for an exclusive festive anthem, symbolising how two brands from different eras can unite to bring culture, joy, and nostalgia into one irresistible scoop.

The Barfi Ice Cream will be available across India through Hocco’s extensive distribution network, including general trade stores, quick commerce platforms such as Blinkit, Zepto, and Instamart, Hocco parlours, select modern trade outlets, and street push carts. With its playful cube-shaped design and gifting-friendly appeal, it is set to become one of the most talked-about launches this Diwali season.

As the festive season kicks off, Hocco and Haldiram’s are betting on nostalgia and innovation to win hearts and taste buds across the country.
