RENÉE Cosmetics has raised 30 million dollars in Series C funding, securing a strong valuation of 200 million dollars. This latest round was led by Playbook with participation from Midas and others through both primary and secondary investments. As one of India’s fastest-growing beauty brands, RENÉE has already tripled its growth over the last 18 months and shows no signs of slowing down.

The brand currently boasts a diverse portfolio of over 200 beauty and fragrance SKUs. With this new capital, RENÉE plans to invest heavily in expanding its product lineup, scaling its presence across Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities, and deepening its brand engagement through technology and retail experience. Already present in 15000 retail outlets and across major e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, and Myntra, the brand is now setting its sights on international expansion with beta launches in the US, UAE, and Australia.

Ashutosh Valani, Co-founder, shared that the brand has already crossed a 500 crore annual revenue run rate and aims to double that in the next two years. The fresh capital will go into building a more aggressive marketing engine, lowering acquisition costs, and pushing higher conversion on both direct and marketplace channels.

For Aashka Goradia Goble, Co-founder and CMO, this round is a creative leap forward. With a strong focus on product innovation, she emphasized how RENÉE wants to continuously surprise and delight users with cutting-edge, globally inspired formats while staying rooted in ethics and quality.

Priyank Shah, another Co-founder, highlighted the need for strong offline retail strategy, something often overlooked by new-age beauty startups. The goal is to strengthen physical distribution in underrepresented markets while creating a consistent on-ground brand presence.

The investor voices echoed this bullish sentiment. Vikas Choudhury of Playbook described RENÉE as a leader in serving India’s social-media driven, authenticity-seeking consumers, especially in emerging cities. Meanwhile, Evolvence Equity Partners reaffirmed their long-term faith in the brand’s vision and execution.
