When fashion meets food, culture is created. Ranbir Kapoor’s ARKS has joined hands with Lay’s to launch Colour-Lays, a limited edition sneaker capsule that reimagines the vibrant colours of Lay’s chips into striking footwear designs.
This drop features sneakers inspired by four instantly recognisable flavours loved across India. Blue for American Style Cream and Onion, red for Spanish Tomato Tango, orange for India’s Magic Masala and neon green for West Indies Hot and Sweet Chilli. Each pair channels Lay’s playful energy while carrying ARKS’ design-first approach, offering sneakers that are both nostalgic and fresh.
Designed as low top silhouettes, the Colour-Lays sneakers are meant to be timeless yet bold. The idea is not just to create a fashion item but to spark a cultural conversation. For ARKS, the collaboration is a reflection of its ethos of building stories through authentic partnerships, while for Lay’s it is an extension of its deep connect with youth culture, pop identity and everyday moments of joy.
Abhinav Verma, co-founder and CEO of ARKS, explained that the idea started with a simple thought of taking something millions recognise and reframing it in the language of sneakers. Lay’s colours are instantly iconic, making them the perfect canvas for a playful and stylish crossover.

Saumya Rathor, marketing director at PepsiCo India, shared that Lay’s has always been a part of fashion, culture and creativity, and this collaboration delivers authenticity and expression in one capsule. For Lay’s, the partnership is not only a campaign but also a way to cement its place in the streetwear scene.
The Colour-Lays sneakers will be available for purchase and customisation through the ARKS website, making this drop more than just footwear. It is a bold cultural statement at the intersection of snacking and streetwear.
