Scaler has named Ratnakar Reddy as head of its business to business operations across India and the Middle East and North Africa region. The move places leadership of the Scaler B2B business India MENA mandate with a senior executive whose remit spans enterprise skilling and AI driven transformation.

In his new role, Reddy will oversee Scaler’s enterprise skilling strategy and drive deeper partnerships with government bodies, digital first companies and large enterprises navigating AI adoption. The brief is to help organisations reskill existing workforces and build capabilities in AI and data science at scale.

Scaler has already delivered multiple enterprise programmes in 2025, including collaborations with ADGM Academy and training initiatives for telecom operator DU. The company is also working on workforce enablement for projects such as NAFIS job matching platform, signalling a broader commitment to ecosystem level skill building.

Co founder Abhimanyu Saxena said the company is thrilled to welcome Reddy to its leadership team, describing his cross sector experience and understanding of AI as critical for the next phase of growth. Saxena added that as Scaler scales operations and works to bridge the AI talent gap, Reddy’s leadership will be pivotal to its expansion across India and MENA.

Reddy underlined the urgency of reskilling in his first comments on the appointment. He said that with the advent of AI, the need to continuously evolve the existing workforce has become paramount across sectors. Rising demand for AI and data science skills, he believes, presents a unique opportunity for India to strengthen its position as a global skill hub, serving both domestic and international needs.

He positioned Scaler as a natural partner for this agenda, pointing to its industry aligned curricula and emphasis on real world application. In his view, the company’s offerings are designed to future proof careers and empower professionals to succeed in an AI driven economy.

Over the next year, Reddy will focus on expanding Scaler’s B2B footprint and deepening coverage across key markets in India and the wider region. The task includes not only signing new enterprise clients but also widening the scope of existing collaborations and ensuring measurable outcomes for partners.

The appointment underscores how enterprise skilling has moved from a peripheral training topic to a core strategic question for organisations dealing with AI adoption. For governments, regulated industries and digital first firms, the challenge is to update skills without disrupting operations.
