SBI Securities has announced the appointment of Vikas Bhargava as its new Chief Financial Officer. Bhargava joins the firm on deputation from the State Bank of India, bringing with him over two decades of experience across various strategic and financial roles within the banking sector. Bhargava began his journey with SBI in 2001 as a Probationary Officer and has since grown through the ranks, handling several key portfolios. His extensive experience covers areas such as market risk management, treasury, offshore wholesale banking, and industrial relations. One of the significant highlights of his career includes his international tenure in Bahrain, where he served as Vice President of Treasury Operations. More recently, he held the position of Deputy General Manager and Chief Digital Officer at the Local Head Office in Thiruvananthapuram.
