Sindhuja Rai has officially stepped into the role of Chief Client Officer for WPP Media across the Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa region. With an impressive career spanning more than a decade, Rai brings a rare blend of global vision and regional expertise to the role. Her past experiences make her well suited to lead WPP Media’s client portfolio in APMEA with precision and purpose.

Prior to this promotion, Sindhuja was serving in a leadership role at WPP Media overseeing APAC Client Leadership. Her tenure in that position lasted from October 2024 to June 2025, during which she played a critical role in guiding strategic initiatives and aligning teams across the region. Before rejoining WPP Media, she was the CEO of Wavemaker APAC where she led operations from September 2023 to June 2025, managing agency growth, talent expansion, and strategic integration across countries in the Asia Pacific region.

Her legacy in the media industry is closely tied with her long standing contribution to Mondelēz International. Across 13 years, she held several influential roles including Senior Director of Global Media Investment and AMEA Consumer Experience between 2020 and 2023. From 2018 to 2020, she also led media, data, and digital initiatives as Director for the APMEA region. Her deep involvement with brand transformation, data driven marketing, and regional media innovation helped shape Mondelēz’s performance in highly competitive markets.
